The second week of the Giro has been a rollercoaster for us. We lost one of our leaders, Aleks Vlasov due to covid, but also won two stages with Nico Denz. In this episode we talk with Nico about his success, a perfect Father's Day present, how to keep motivated when a leader has to abandon the race and of course the decisive 3rd week of the race.

This time we had a chat with Bob Jungels who missed most of his spring season and got a last minute call for the Giro. Bob talks about how to get in shape during a three weeks stage race, his role in the team, and how he expects the race to play out in the upcoming weeks.

Since 2010 Cesare Benedetti is one of the unsung heroes of BORA - hansgrohe. Tomorrow he will take on his 8th Giro d'Italia and even his role didn't change a lot over the years, the team did. "Cece" is the only rider left that was already part of the team in 2010 and he talks about his motivation, why he loves to sacrifice himself for a leader and of course the Giro d'Italia.
